Texas Hold 'Em Tournament

Every year, the Fenton Education Foundation hosts Colonel Fenton's Texas Hold 'Em Poker Tournament at the Fenton Hotel. We hold this event to honor the history of Fenton. William Fenton played Robert LeRoy in poker with the winner renaming the town from Dibbleville and the loser renaming the main street. Colonel Fenton prevailed - and the rest is history! Thanks to the wonderful donation of the Hagerman Family, we can all enjoy a sculpture that shows a reenactment of the final hand at the Fenton Community and Cultural Center. Stop by and join "The Game" and take a great look at a beautiful sculpture! Join us at the Fenton Hotel and help participate in funding teachers grants that go directly into the classroom of our kids. $100 buy-in with the winner getting to rename Leroy Street in their honor for one year!  In addition, there will be cash prizes for the top 7 players making the final table based on the number of entries.

2025 Co-Champions:

Billy Hoffman & Chris Swirtz

After a 30 minute head to head stalemate Billy Hoffman & Chris Swirtz agreed to play one last hand dealing the cards face up to determine the champion. When both players were dealt the exact same hand they felt it was just meant to be that they split the pot and be named Co-Champions.
