A Hole-in-One Event: Tee Up FORE Education Golf Scramble 2024
Our Golf Scramble Was A Swinging Success!

The Fenton Education Foundation brought together golfers and community members alike for a fantastic day at the picturesque Coyote Preserve Golf Club in Fenton, MI, for the Tee Up FORE Golf Scramble. With funds raised directly benefiting the academic programs, arts, and athletics of Fenton Area Public Schools, this event was more than just a day on the greens—it was a day of spirited support and celebration for our schools!
Inspired by the whimsical spirit of of Happy Gilmore, this year’s scramble embraced a playful atmosphere. Traditional golf dress attire rules were thrown to wayside in favor of creative, themed team outfits. Attendees enjoyed 18 holes of golf, continental breakfast with Blood Mary bar, lunch, awards & cocktails, dinner, a silent auction, plus great gifts for all players and prizes for the top three teams. The event was packed with exciting competitions and fun challenges, giving golfers the chance to showcase their skills and creativity both on and off the course! Here’s a look at the competitions:
Best Dressed Foursome
Golfers showed up in their most imaginative and colorful outfits, for a chance to win prizes! Teams competed across these FORE categories:
- Most Creative: Awarded for the most imaginative and creative outfits.
- Team Spirit: Themed attire that representing a brand, company, or team with pride.
- Patriotic Spirit: Best display of American red, white, and blue.
- Tropical Paradise: Best Hawaiian shirts, leis, and tropical-inspired outfits.
Closest to the Pin
Precision was the name of the game as golfers competed to see who could get their ball closest to the pin. This competition truly put their accuracy to the test!
Long Drive
In the long drive competition, golfers unleashed their power, going all out to achieve the longest drive. With categories for both men and women, players showcased their strength and skill with impressive distance.
Putting Contest
Golfers had the chance to test their short game against each other in the putting contest. It was a fun way to challenge their precision and finesse on the green.




Each of these competitions added an extra level of excitement to the event, giving participants the chance to win prizes and, of course, bragging rights!
