Annual Texas Hold'em Tournament: A Night of Compassion and Community

Thank You to Our Poker Tournament Sponsors & Participants

The 2024 Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament was a resounding success, thanks to the incredible generosity of our sponsors and the enthusiastic participation of nearly 200 players. Together, we raised an impressive $13,000+ to support teacher grants that directly benefit the classrooms of our kids. Thank you for going all-in for our schools! Your participation has made a real difference, and we can't wait to deal you in again next year on March 6th, 2025!

We would also like to congratulate winner Jeremy Juhl, and runner up Jacob Whitener on a game well played. Your skill and sportsmanship were a highlight of the evening.

It was an emotionally-charged night as this tournament was played with heavy hearts as Jeremy spent the day of the tournament at the hospital with his lifelong friend, Beau Curtis, who was on life support and sadly passed away on Saturday, March 9th. He is survived by his wife Kristie and their two young children, Declan and Silvie. On March 10th Beau was transferred to Ann Arbor to begin the Gift of Life. Beau will help eight different people continue to live and possibly another 80 improve their quality of life.

Jeremy will be renaming Leroy Street in Beau's honor, and has graciously chosen to donate his $1,700 in prize money directly to Beau's family.

Thank you to our incredible sponsors for your support!
